Lasse Lorentzen lives and works in Denmark, Scandinavia. He also travels to other countries to meet craftsmen and exchange ideas and knowledge. He works primarily as a Viking Blacksmith. He travels in the summers to markets and museums, schools and institutions, with a portable viking smithy, demonstrating the ancient art of smithing, jewelry making, forge welding and manufacturing of all the items found on this site.

When he's not making crafts he enjoys a good hike or kayaking. Both preferably with a fishing rod, bow or gun at hand as his original education is as a ranger with a BA in forestry.

Lasse has been in the craft for a decade and before that he was an apprentice for some years to viking blacksmith and priest, Bent Dahlin. Bent learned the craft of smithing from his father. Bent is also famed for his wonderfully and highly addictive smoked salts.
Kristina Gale was born in Manhattan to a Danish Mother and American Father. She spent her younger years travelling between the US and Scandinavia, going to school in both NYC and Copenhagen. As a child Kristina was involved in several Scandinavian Dance Clubs and has fond memories of dancing for the Queen of Sweden at Carnegie Hall.

Kristina now lives on the eastern end of Long Island, in the beautiful old whaling village of Sag Harbor. Above all, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and her grandaughter and has a great passion for web design.
